Welcome to MLAB, a research laboratory at Hanyang University focused on developing innovative solutions at the intersection of medical computing, cyber-physical systems, internet of things, medical artificial intelligence, and smart wearables. Our research objective is to create intelligent cyber-physical systems that can improve healthcare outcomes and empower patients.

Our Expertise

Our interdisciplinary team of researchers includes experts in medicine, computer science, electrical engineering, and other related fields. Together, we bring diverse perspectives to address the challenges facing healthcare today. We have extensive experience in system architecture, real-time systems, large-scale distributed systems, and Internet-of-Things. Additionally, our expertise in medical artificial intelligence, CDM/medical big data systems, and precision medicine enables us to develop effective early warning systems for heart disease patients, hidden hearing loss early diagnosis systems, and acoustic neuroma real-time screening systems.

At MLAB, we believe that collaboration is essential to drive innovation and solve complex problems. We welcome partnerships with other research institutions, industry partners, and healthcare providers to advance our research in smart healthcare systems based on medical artificial intelligence, ultra-low latency scalable machine-to-machine communication systems, and hardware/sensors for wearables.
